My Workshops
My presentation style is very interactive and (hopefully) engaging. I don't like to talk for long stretches of time and prefer to use technology, questioning, group discussions, and lots of activities like drawing to keep participants leading the conversation.

The Ritual In Hardship
Designed specifically for an online format, "The Ritual In Hardship" examines how the Ritual of Kappa Kappa Psi can guide our actions through times of adversity. Learners in this workshop will leave with a greater understanding of the Ritual, and a list of discussion methods and virtual tools to use with their chapters.

VPM's and the Ritual
In this workshop designed specifically for chapter-level educators, we will explore how to get the whole chapter (candidates and veterans alike!) feeling comfortable talking about and engaging with the Ritual

Lift Every Voice
Titled after the famous poem and song by James Weldon Johnson and John Johnson, "Lift Every Voice and Sing" reminds participants of the importance of creating space for marginalized voices in large-group conversations. Learners in this workshop will walk away having analyzed the voices they typically hear in meetings, and with an arsenal of strategies for amplifying the participation of all. Participants will also create an action plan to bring back to their chapter or team. |
Musicianship as an Alumni
In this mini-workshop, we discuss ways to stay involved with music as a non-music-major alumni. Using personal examples from my own journey with music, brothers are exposed to a variety of ways to maintain a relationship with your instrument after graduation.
